Tischdecke mit Briefecken / Table Cloth with Mitered Corners
Die Tischdecke hat eine Größe von 40x40 cm. Man benötigt zwei Rechtecke: der Außenstoff (beige) wird mit zusätzlichen 16 cm pro Seite zugeschnitten (hier also 52x52 cm) und der Innenstoff mit 0,5 cm pro Seite gekürzt (also 39x39 cm).

Today I sewed this table cloth with mitered corners. It's an easy project which took about 1 hour.
The table cloth is 40x40 cm (~16x16 inches) and you need two rectangles. Cut the outer fabric with an additional 16cm (~6 inches) (therefore 52x52 cm or 22x22 inches) and shorten the inner fabric by 0,5 cm (0,2 inches) ()therefore 39x39 cm or 15,8x15,8 inches).
