Happy Birthday Shaker Card

Für meine Mitbewohnerin habe ich dieses mal eine Geburstagskarte gemacht. Da ich gerade das Set von Mama Elephant klasse finde, habe ich noch eine weitere Karte gemacht - dieses mal mit dem Waschbären. Den Waschbären habe ich mit Archival Jet Black Ink auf Aquarellpapier gestempelt und anschließend mit den Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens koloriert (91, 94, 95, 10). Mit Classic Cherry Ink habe ich das Sentiment "Happy Birthday" gestempelt. Auf weißen Karton habe ich ebenso die Papierkugeln und Stifte mit Memento Tuxedo Black Ink gestempelt und die Stifte mit Spektrum Noir Markern ausgemalt (CR7, EB2) sowie anschließend mit meiner Schneidemaschine ausgeschnitten.
Ebenfalls mit meinem Plotter habe ich das vordere Panel aus weißem Karton ausgeschnitten (10x10cm), ebenso wie ein etwas kleineres rotes Quadrat für den Hintergrund. Aus Moosgummi habe ich ein etwa gleichgroßes Quadrat geschnitten und den Kreis in der Mitte ausgeschnitten, um genug Raum für das Shakermaterial zu erzeugen. Damit die Motive nicht aus der Karte fallen, habe ich noch etwas Acetate hinten den Kreis geklebt. Nachdem ich das Frontpanel auf den roten Hintergrund und die Karte geklebt habe, habe ich noch den Waschbären, eine Papierkugel und einen Stift aufgeklebt.


I wanted to create a simple birthday shaker card for my room mate and wanted to use this set from Mama Elephant again - I just love it. This time I used the little raccoon and stamped it with Archival Jet Black Ink on watercolor cardstock and colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens (91, 94, 95, 10). I used Classic Cherry ink to stamp the sentiment "Happy Birthday" and also stamped some of the paper balls and pens with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink because I wanted to color the pens with Spectrum Noir markers (CR7, EB2). I cut out the images using my cutting machine.
Also using my cutting machine, I cut out a 4"x4" square and a circle in the center as well as a slightly smaller red square for the background. Using fun foam, I created some dimension to pop up the fron panel. To make sure the images don't fall out, I adhered some acetate behind the circle. After adhering the front panel on top of the background, I also glued the raccoon, a paper ball, and a pen on top of the fron panel.
